Think of an account as any place your money actually sits — your bank account, your wallet of cash, a credit card, a crypto wallet, or an investment. You tell Rasa Money what each one is called, what type it is, and how much is in it to start; from there, every transaction you record is what moves the balance up or down. There's no automatic bank connection — you're always the one entering what happened, which also means you're always in control of exactly what's tracked.
A few things to keep in mind as you set accounts up: each account lives in one currency, you can have only one "default" account at a time (the one that's pre-selected whenever you add a transaction), and everything you do elsewhere in the app — budgets, debts, reports — ultimately traces back to the accounts you've created here.
