What You Can Manage

Not just an expense tracker.
A place to run your money.

A finance app should answer four questions without you digging. Rasa Money answers all four — and keeps answering them when your money sits in more than one currency.

Where is my money?

Every account, in one list

Bank accounts, cash, credit cards, crypto wallets and investments — each in the currency it actually holds. Settled balance and available balance are tracked separately, so you can see what has cleared and what is merely committed.

Where did it go?

A ledger, not a shoebox

Income, expenses and transfers, each with a two-level category, notes, commissions, cheque and tracking references, and linked refunds that reverse cleanly instead of being logged twice.

Am I on track?

Budgets and debts with real progress

Limits scoped to the accounts and categories you choose, with live usage and status. Debts with installment schedules, payments, and how much of the balance is behind you. You get told at 80%, and again when you go past 100%.

What happens next?

Next month, before it arrives

Recurring transactions, scheduled payments and upcoming installments give you a forward view — and an approval inbox so nothing counts until you say it happened.

Who It's For

Built for the way
you actually earn and spend

You don't need clients on three continents to get value from Rasa Money. But if you have them, this is the part other apps quietly get wrong.

Anyone who wants a real grip on their money
Individuals

Anyone who wants a real grip on their money

Accounts, categories, budgets, subscriptions and debts in one place, with a dashboard that tells you where you stand without you building a spreadsheet first. Works perfectly well if every account you own is in the same currency.

Freelancers & remote workers
Freelancers

Freelancers & remote workers

You invoice in three currencies and still can't say what you earned this month. Each payment converts at the rate on the day it actually landed, so your income figure is a fact rather than an estimate that shifts with the market.

Expats & cross-border families
Expats

Expats & cross-border families

You live in one country, bank in another, and still send money home. Every account keeps its own currency — including the mortgage or loan back home — and the installment schedule shows what each payment really costs in the currency you earn.

Nomads & frequent travellers
Digital Nomads

Nomads & frequent travellers

New city, new currency, new cost of living, every few months. Timezone, date format and fiscal month start are yours to set, and records that span time keep the timezone they were created in — so moving countries doesn't quietly rewrite last year's periods.

⚡ Core Differentiator

Truly multi-currency.
Not just a flag next to a number.

Most finance apps convert everything at today's rate and call it multi-currency. That quietly rewrites your history every time the market moves. We built the engine the other way round.

Your real rate. Locked. Permanently.

Your real rate. Locked. Permanently.

Every transaction stores the exchange rate that applied on its own date, and every downstream figure — budget spend, net worth, category totals — reuses that stored rate instead of today's. Last March stays exactly as accurate next March. That single decision is what makes a multi-currency report trustworthy, and it is the hardest thing to bolt on later.

Permanent

Every account, its own currency

One account, one currency — chosen when you create it and protected once transactions exist. Your USD checking, EUR savings, TRY cash and crypto wallet sit side by side, each honest about what it actually holds.

The rate is locked at transaction time

Once a day's rates are stored they never expire and never change. A past-dated record is labelled "converted at the rate on that date" so you always know which rate you are reading.

Cross-currency transfers, done properly

Move money between two of your own accounts in different currencies. The pair rate is fetched live, shown in whichever direction reads better, and the effective rate you actually got is calculated from what you entered.

One dashboard for the whole picture

Accounts, budgets, recurring transactions and debts all roll up into the base currency you chose. Net worth is totalled across your active accounts at today's rates — one number, not eight.

One budget currency, spend anywhere

Set the limit in the currency you plan in, then attach accounts in any currency. Matching expenses convert using the same locked rates as your ledger, so limit, spent and remaining always agree.

Future-dated entries settle themselves

Schedule something ahead and it converts at today's rate, clearly badged as an estimate. When the date arrives the real rate is applied, your balance is corrected by the difference, and you're notified if the amount moved.

🔁 Recurring & Debts

The money that
moves on a schedule.

Rent, salary, subscriptions, transfers, loan installments. Set the schedule once and Rasa Money generates each occurrence, holds it for your approval, and reminds you before the next one is due.

01

Recurring transactions

Expense, income or transfer — one template per series, with its cycle, end date and default status. Subscriptions, rent, payroll and standing transfers all live in the same place. The template itself is never a transaction; it's the rule that creates them.

02

Backfill or schedule ahead

Rebuild past history from a series, hold today's occurrences for approval, or date them forward so they sit as scheduled until they're actually due.

03

Nothing counts until you confirm it

Generated payments arrive as pending in your Cartable — the inbox for anything waiting on you. Pending moves your available balance but not your settled one, and never touches a budget until you confirm it happened.

04

Loans & installment plans

Loans, installment plans, credit-card plans or money owed to a friend. Give it a total, a number of installments and a cycle; link it to an account so payments become real transactions, or keep it tracking-only so it never touches your balances.

05

A debt in a currency you don't earn

The installment amount doesn't move, but the exchange rate does. The schedule stays in the debt's own currency while every payment is also shown in yours — so you can see what it actually costs you this month.

06

Told before, not after

An installment reminder inside your lead-day window, an alert the moment one goes overdue, a note when a budget hits 80% and again if it goes over — in the app and in your inbox. And a nice one when a debt is finally paid off.

Features

Everything you need,
built for clarity

Budgets, imports, debts, analytics and an assistant that knows your numbers — without the spreadsheet chaos.

01
Smart Budgets01

Spend in any currency.
Track one clear limit.

Pick the currency your limit lives in, then choose exactly which accounts and categories count toward it. One-time or recurring, with new periods created for you and overlap checked before you save.

  • Limit, spent and remaining in one budget currency
  • Scoped to the accounts and categories you choose
  • Alerts at 80% and again above 100%
02
Import Wizard02

Three years of bank history.
Imported in one sitting.

Upload a CSV or XLSX export from any bank, anywhere. Rasa AI can read the file's structure, suggest a category per row and even spot repeating subscriptions — but every suggestion goes through you before a single record is created.

  • Any bank, any country, CSV or XLSX
  • AI column mapping and category suggestions
  • Row-by-row review before anything is written
03
Debts03

Know exactly what you owe,
and when it's due

Add a loan or installment plan with its real schedule. Rasa Money tracks each payment against the outstanding balance, shows what's left, flags what's overdue, and converts the whole thing into your base currency.

  • Installment schedules with due dates and reminders
  • Linked to an account, or tracking-only
  • Paid-off progress and remaining balance at a glance

See where your money

AI Overview

Your dashboard, in a paragraph

One tap turns your income, spending, budgets and recent activity into a natural-language read of where you stand — written in your display language. It runs when you ask for it, not on every page load.

  • Drawn from your live dashboard data
  • Written in your display language automatically
  • Generated on demand, so nothing runs behind your back
Rasa AI Chat

Ask anything — about your money or about the app

Ask what you spent on dining last month, why a budget moved, or how to set up a recurring transfer. Responses stream as they're written, render as proper formatted text, and stay in your browser rather than on our servers.

  • Your data and product help in one assistant
  • Streaming answers you can stop mid-sentence
  • Chat history stays local to your browser
AI Import

It reads your bank export so you don't have to

Point it at a spreadsheet and Rasa AI works out which column is the date, which is the amount and which describes the transaction — then suggests a category per row and flags rows that look like a subscription. If it can't tell, it says so and falls back to plain detection.

  • Automatic column mapping with a deterministic fallback
  • Per-row category suggestions you can reassign
  • Repeating charges detected and collapsed into one series
Simple to Start

Up and running in minutes

No accounting background required. Four steps to a complete picture — or explore the whole product with demo data first and clear it when you're ready for the real thing.

1

Add your accounts

Bank accounts, cash, credit cards, crypto wallets and investments — each in its own currency, with the opening balance you declare. Not sure yet? Load demo data and click around first.

2

Set your base currency

Pick the currency you think and plan in. Everything rolls up into it while every original amount stays intact underneath. Set your timezone, date format and fiscal month start while you're there.

3

Add or import your history

Log transactions by hand, or bring years of statements in through the import wizard. Map the columns once, review every row, and nothing is created until you confirm.

4

Set budgets, schedules and debts

Cap spending in one budget currency while money moves across accounts in any currency. Add recurring transactions for the things that repeat, track what you owe, then ask Rasa AI how it's going.

Real Situations

Built for the problems
other apps shrug at

Some of these need a multi-currency engine. Some just need a finance app that takes the boring parts seriously. Rasa Money handles both.

01Freelance income

Four clients. Three currencies. One question.

You invoiced in USD, EUR and GBP and still can't say what you earned. Each payment converts at the rate it actually landed on — and stays converted at that rate forever.

02Relocation

You moved countries mid-year.

Old salary in one currency, new one in another, history spread across both. Every past transaction keeps the rate of its own date, so the year still adds up when you look back at it.

03Subscriptions

Billed monthly in a currency you don't earn.

Software in USD, a phone plan in TRY, rent in EUR. Set each as a recurring transaction once; every occurrence is generated in its own currency and waits in your inbox for a nod.

04Migration

Three years of statements from two countries.

Export the files, map the columns once, let the AI suggest categories, review the rows, and land your entire history in a single sitting — categorised and converted.

05Debt

A loan back home. Income somewhere else.

The installment doesn't move but the exchange rate does. The schedule stays in the loan's currency while every payment shows what it actually costs you in yours.

06Everyday

One salary, one currency, and no idea where it goes.

The most common case of all, and the one we didn't want to leave out. Categories, budgets, recurring bills, a debt schedule and a dashboard that adds up. No border-crossing required.

Full Feature Set

A complete finance manager
that happens to be brilliant at currencies

Everything below is shipped and running in the product today.

01

Accounts & Balances

Five account types — bank, credit card, crypto wallet, investment and cash — each in one currency, with a default account preselected across the product. Settled and available balances are tracked separately and are always derived from your transactions, never typed over.

02

Multi-Currency Engine

Mid-market rates from a single central provider, stored per calendar day and permanent once written. Every transaction remembers the rate set it used, and every downstream calculation reuses it — which is why your figures don't drift.

03

Income, Expense & Transfer Ledger

Three transaction types and six statuses that each move balances differently. Categories, notes, commissions, cheque and tracking references, and refunds that link back to the original and reverse it cleanly.

04

Recurring Transactions

One template per series with its own cycle, end date and default status. Occurrences are generated for you and can be backfilled, paused, or dated ahead. Subscriptions, rent, payroll and standing transfers all fit.

05

Debt & Installment Management

Loans, installment plans, credit-card plans and personal debts, with real schedules and progress. Link a debt to an account so payments become transactions, or track it separately so it never touches your balances.

06

Smart Budget Engine

One-time or recurring budgets in a single currency, scoped to the accounts and categories you pick. Overlap is checked, new periods roll over automatically, and pausing keeps what's already counted.

07

Two-Level Categories

Category groups holding subcategories, split into income and expense, each with its own icon and colour. Only subcategories attach to transactions, so your rollups stay meaningful instead of turning into a flat list of forty tags.

08

Cartable: Your Approval Inbox

Everything waiting on a decision, in one screen. Generated payments and anything you saved as pending sit here until you confirm them — reducing available balance but never counting toward budgets or settled balances first.

09

CSV / XLSX Import Wizard

Upload, map, review, confirm. Any file from any institution worldwide, with column mapping, type detection from amount signs, and support for Gregorian, Jalali and Hijri dates on the way in.

10

Rasa AI Assistant

A streaming chat grounded in your accounts and recent transactions, a one-tap dashboard summary in your own language, and AI assistance inside the import wizard. Read-only by design — it answers and summarises, and can never write to your records.

11

Dashboard & Net Worth

Quick stats against the previous 30 days, cash flow over the window you choose, your most-used account, recent transactions, upcoming installments and recurring occurrences, and total net worth across every active account.

12

Alerts & Notifications

Budget thresholds, installment reminders and overdue warnings, new budget periods, generated recurring payments, and a note whenever an estimated exchange rate settles into a different amount — in the bell and in your inbox.

13

Exchange Rate Tools

A built-in converter using current mid-market rates, a freshness indicator in the top bar with manual refresh, and clear labelling of which rate produced every converted figure you're looking at.

14

Locale, Timezone & Calendar

Six fully translated languages, five date formats, your own timezone, and a fiscal month start day that shifts every "this month" in the product. Records that span time keep the timezone they were created in, so relocating doesn't rewrite your history.

15

Data Ownership & Security

No bank credentials are ever collected because no bank is ever connected. Export your records as a structured archive, and know that export, financial reset and account deletion each require your password again plus a typed confirmation.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Rasa Money an expense tracker or a full personal finance manager?

A full finance manager. Expense tracking is one part of it. Rasa Money also handles accounts across five types, income and transfers, two-level categories, budgets with periods and scopes, recurring transactions, loans and installment plans, an approval inbox, a dashboard with net worth and cash flow, file import, and an AI assistant grounded in your own data. The multi-currency engine runs through all of it rather than sitting beside it.

Do I need to earn in multiple currencies to use it?

No. If every account you own uses the same currency, Rasa Money runs in single-currency mode: amounts are shown as recorded, the base currency is pinned to your account currency, and there is nothing to convert. Everything else — budgets, categories, recurring transactions, debts, the dashboard, Rasa AI — works exactly the same. The moment you add an account in a second currency, the multi-currency engine switches itself on.

What makes Rasa Money a true multi-currency finance app?

Every account holds one currency, and every transaction stores the exchange rate that applied on its own date. Rates are stored per calendar day and never change once written, and downstream figures — budget spend, category totals, net worth — reuse the rate the transaction remembered rather than today's. That's why a report you ran last March still says the same thing today. Most apps convert at read time, which quietly rewrites history every time the market moves.

Which currencies and rates does Rasa Money use?

150+ currencies, plus accounts typed as crypto wallets. Rates are mid-market, sourced centrally from one provider rather than per user, and the product is explicit that these are not bank rates — your bank will apply its own spread. Today's rates refresh when the provider publishes; past dates are permanent. A freshness indicator in the top bar tells you when rates were last updated, with a manual refresh if you want one.

Do I have to connect my bank account?

No, and for a lot of our users that's the point. Bank connections cover a handful of countries and are the first thing to break when you move or bank somewhere unusual. Rasa Money works from what you enter and from file imports, so it behaves identically in every country. It also means we never ask for or store your banking credentials.

Can I import transactions from my bank?

Yes, on the Pro plan. The import wizard accepts CSV and XLSX exports from any institution worldwide. You upload the file, map the columns, choose how transaction types are detected, and review every row in an editor before confirming. Rasa AI can propose the column mapping and a category per row, and can spot repeating charges that look like subscriptions — but every suggestion is a suggestion, and nothing is written until you confirm.

How do recurring transactions and subscriptions work?

You create one template per series — expense, income or transfer — with its cycle, end date and default status. The template is not itself a transaction and never touches a balance; it generates occurrences on schedule, which do. Occurrences are typically created as pending and land in your Cartable inbox, so they affect your available balance but don't count as settled or hit a budget until you confirm them. You can backfill past occurrences, pause a series, or date occurrences ahead. Recurring transactions are a Pro feature.

How does debt and installment tracking work?

Add a loan, installment plan, credit-card plan or personal debt with its total, number of installments and cycle. Rasa Money lays out the schedule, tracks payments against the outstanding balance, and shows how much you've cleared. Link it to an account and each payment becomes a real transaction affecting your balance; leave it unlinked and it stays a tracking record. Debts in a different currency are converted into your base currency so you can see what each installment actually costs.

Can one budget include accounts in different currencies?

Yes, and this is one of the more useful things the engine makes possible. Each budget has a single currency for its limit, spent and remaining figures. You choose which accounts and which categories belong to it, those accounts can be in any currency, and matching expenses convert toward the limit using the same locked rates as your ledger. Only expenses count toward a budget — income and transfers never do.

What is Rasa AI, and what can it see?

Rasa AI has three surfaces: a chat assistant, a one-tap dashboard summary, and category assistance inside the import wizard. It reads a snapshot of your accounts, balances, budgets and categories, plus your recent transactions, and it also knows how the product works — so it can answer both "what did I spend on groceries?" and "how do I create a budget?". Crucially, it is read-only: it can answer and summarise, but there is no path for it to create, edit or delete anything. Chat history is kept in your browser rather than on your account. All three surfaces are Pro features.

How is my financial data protected?

The strongest protection is structural: we never connect to your bank, so there are no banking credentials to store or leak. Beyond that, sensitive actions — exporting data, resetting your finances, deleting your account, revealing a stored card number — require you to re-enter your password, and the two most destructive also require typing a confirmation word. Stored card numbers are encrypted at rest and never returned in ordinary responses. Download links are HTTPS-only, and export files are removed from disk after download.

Can I export all my data?

Yes, on the Pro plan. Export produces a structured archive of your accounts, transactions, budgets, categories and debts, downloadable after you confirm your password. Data export is one of the Pro capabilities, so if you're planning to leave or to move your records elsewhere, do it while your subscription is active. Downgrading never deletes anything — your records remain in the product either way.

What happens when the 3-day Pro trial ends?

The trial starts at checkout through our payment provider, and your first charge is scheduled for the day it ends — the exact date is shown in Settings → Subscription while the trial runs. If you cancel before that date you're not charged. Trials are tracked per account, so resubscribing later won't grant a second one.

What can I actually do on the free plan?

Enough to judge the product, not enough to run your finances on — and we'd rather say that than let you find out in week two. Basic gives you 2 accounts in a single currency, 10 transactions total with 3 per day, 2 budgets, 10 categories and 1 debt. Recurring transactions, file import, data export, the cash flow chart and Rasa AI are Pro. If you want to explore properly first, load the demo data: it fills the product with realistic accounts, categories, budgets, transactions and a debt, and you can clear it in one action when you're ready to go live.

Is Rasa Money available in my language?

The product is fully translated into English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French and Turkish, and Rasa AI writes its summaries and answers in whichever you've selected. Dates, month names and weekday names follow your language too, and you can choose from five date formats, set your timezone, and define which day your financial month starts on.

Is Rasa Money a bank or financial advisor?

No. Rasa Money is a finance tracking and management tool. We do not hold, transfer, or invest your money. Rasa Money is not a bank, broker, or financial advisor.
