Five account types
Bank, credit card, crypto wallet, investment and cash, each with its own icon and colour so your accounts read at a glance. Give any account a custom colour, description and last four card digits.
Keep every account you own in one place — bank, credit card, crypto wallet, investment and cash. Each account holds one currency, and every balance is calculated from the transactions you record.
An account is a container for money: a checking account, a wallet of cash, a credit card, a crypto wallet or an investment holding. You create each one, set its opening balance and pick its currency. Rasa Money doesn't connect to your bank, so there are no credentials to hand over and no sync to break.
Three rules keep the numbers trustworthy. One account holds one currency. Balances are derived from transactions, never typed over. And exactly one account is your default, preselected wherever you record money moving.
When they differ, each account shows two figures: current balance for money that has cleared, and available balance for money you have already committed. A pending expense lowers available straight away and current once you confirm it.
Card numbers are encrypted at rest and only the last four digits appear in lists. Closed a bank account? Deactivate it to hide it from pickers while its history stays in your reports.

A balance change is written in the same database operation as the transaction behind it, so a balance and its ledger row can never drift apart. Credit cards can go negative, because that is how they work.
Basic explores within caps on accounts and currencies. Pro removes both. Downgrading never deletes an account or its history.
The status of a transaction decides which balance it touches.
| Transaction status | Available balance | Current balance |
|---|---|---|
| Completed | Yes | Yes |
| Pending | Yes | No |
| Refund | Yes (reversed) | Yes (reversed) |
| Scheduled | No | No |
| Failed or canceled | No | No |
You can change an account's currency until its first transaction. After that, create a new account so your history stays accurate.
No. You create accounts and record or import transactions yourself, so Rasa Money never holds your bank credentials.
Current balance is money that has cleared. Available balance also includes pending items you have already committed. They match once everything is confirmed.
Yes. Rasa Money does not block overdrafts, because credit cards and overdrawn accounts are real and should be recorded as they are.
Deactivate it. It disappears from pickers while its transactions stay in your reports. Inactive accounts still count toward your plan's account cap.
