An inbox for money that needs a decision
The Cartable is Rasa Money's action inbox: one screen listing everything that waits for your decision. Today it holds every pending transaction, from a payment a recurring series generated to an installment created for a linked debt, or anything you saved as Pending yourself.
Each item is a normal transaction card with one action: Mark Complete. Nothing is hidden by date, so a payment from eight months ago is as visible as one from this morning.
In practice
One click settles it, everywhere
Confirming a pending transaction updates your current balance, lets the expense count toward its budget (and can trigger a budget alert on the spot), and can mark a debt installment as paid. Available balance already reflected the payment, so it does not move twice.
Refunds work the other way. A completed transaction can have one linked refund that copies its amount, accounts and budget and reverses the balance effect. The original stays visible and completed, and the refund counts against its direction in your totals.
Refunds that keep history intact
A refund is a linked reversal, not an edit or a deletion. To undo a refund, delete it and the original's effect is applied again.
Fits your plan
The Cartable and refunds are part of the core ledger. The payments that feed the inbox come from recurring series (a Pro feature), debts and anything you save as Pending.
From pending to settled
- A recurring series or a linked debt generates a payment as Pending, or you save a transaction as Pending yourself.
- It lowers your available balance and appears in the Cartable.
- You press Mark Complete once it really happened.
- The status becomes Completed, your current balance updates, and budgets and debts re-check.

FAQ
Can I reject a pending transaction from the Cartable?
The Cartable only confirms. To remove a pending item without completing it, open the transaction list and change its status or delete it.
Does the Cartable send reminders?
Not today. It lists pending transactions only; reminders and due dates for debts arrive as notifications.
Can I refund a pending transaction?
No. Only completed transactions can be refunded, once each.
Does confirming a transaction notify me?
No, because it is a change you just made. Confirming can still trigger a budget alert if the expense pushes a budget past 80% or over its limit.
