Overview
Chat can draft transactions, accounts, categories, budgets and debts. The assistant resolves names to your real records, then shows a confirmation card with the fields in plain language. Nothing exists until you press Confirm.
Confirmed writes run through the same product rules as the ordinary forms — plan limits, balances, budget matching. Cards expire after an hour if left unconfirmed.
Steps
Tell the assistant what you want — for example "I spent $40 on groceries" or "Add a $40 monthly Netflix subscription".
- Review the confirmation card fields (amount, account, category, date, recurrence).
- Press Confirm to save, or Cancel to discard with nothing written.
- If a create is refused (plan limit, inactive account), the card stays actionable and the assistant explains why.
Troubleshooting
Cards do not survive a page reload — if you navigate away before confirming, ask again. If Confirm fails, fix the underlying issue and retry from the same card when it is still live.
