How mapping works
After upload, the wizard shows detected columns and a proposed map. Accept it, edit it, or fall back to plain detection when AI is unsure.
Nothing is written until you finish review and confirm.
Override a field
Open any mapped field and pick a different column. Amount detection also lives here when debit and credit are separate.
- Prefer signed amount when the file has one amount column.
- Use debit/credit detection when signs are split across columns.
- Save the mapping before moving to review.
Troubleshooting
If every row looks wrong in review, go back to mapping — do not confirm. Re-map and try again.
