If you want to explore before committing your real finances, click Import demo data from the empty dashboard. You'll be asked to confirm your password first (just to make sure it's really you), then a second click actually loads everything in — a few sample accounts, some categories, a budget, and a bit of transaction history to look at. Once it's loaded, you'll see a banner at the top of the app reminding you that you're in "test mode." Feel free to also add real information while you're exploring — nothing stops you — but when you're ready to use the app for real, you'll want to clear the sample data out (see the next guide).
