Many tags per transaction
Attach up to five tags when you create or edit a transaction. Chips on the transaction card keep the labels visible in the list.
Cross-cutting labels for the moments categories are not enough — trips, projects, tax buckets — with Pro-only tagging on every transaction, including CSV import.
Tags are simple: a name and a colour. Assign one or many to a transaction, filter the ledger by tag, and manage them from a dedicated Tags page. Categories stay for income and expense structure; tags carry the extra context you need day to day.
When you import a statement, you can map an optional Tags column (comma- or semicolon-separated names). Existing tags match case-insensitively; unknown names can be created when you confirm — still only after you review.
From the Tags list, open any tag to jump to Transactions already filtered by that id. Deleting a tag removes it from every assigned transaction and leaves the transactions themselves intact.
On import review you can apply tags to every selected row, edit chips per row, and accept history-based suggestions — suggestions never write themselves.

Map a Tags column in the CSV/XLSX wizard. Matched names reuse existing tags; new names are created once on confirm, in the same step that creates the transactions.
Transaction filters include a multi-select for tags so you can narrow the list to any of the tags you pick — or require every selected tag.
Tags are included on Pro. Basic users can still import statements; tag columns are ignored with a notice, and Tags stays behind the upgrade path.

The tag is removed from every transaction that used it. The transactions stay; only the label is gone.
No. Tags are a Pro capability. Upgrade to create tags and assign them to transactions.
Yes. Up to five tags per transaction when creating, editing, or importing.
Yes on Pro. Map an optional Tags column (comma- or semicolon-separated names) in the import wizard. Existing tags match without caring about case; unknown names can be created when you confirm. Basic imports still work — tags from the file are skipped with a notice.
